Handling Calls
Because VoicerCRM is joined to your phone system, the phone does half your work for you. You know who's calling before you answer, you dial with a click, and you never have to write "spoke to customer" in a log — it's already there.
The caller card (screen-pop)
When a call comes in, the customer's card pops onto your screen automatically. At a glance you see:
- Who's calling — name, company and status.
- Your recent history with them and any open support tickets.
- Outstanding commitments and a billing snapshot.
So you answer with "Hi Jane, calling about your cleaning on Thursday?" instead of "Who's speaking, please?"
If the caller isn't in the CRM yet, the card offers a quick "create contact" so you capture them on the spot — and future calls will recognise them.
Click-to-dial
To call a customer, just click their phone number anywhere in the CRM. The phone system places the call and connects your handset — no dialing digits, no misdials. The call is tracked from the moment it starts.
Notes & automatic logging
During or after a call, jot notes on the record. When you hang up, the call is logged automatically to the customer's timeline — time, duration, direction, your notes, and (if recording is on) the recording. Nothing to remember, nothing to type twice.
Every logged call is tied to the customer and to the phone system's own record, so reports and the customer timeline always agree. Admins can read how it works under PBX Integration.
