Caller Directory

The caller directory turns anonymous incoming numbers into recognisable people. When a known number calls, staff see who it is — plus notes and past-call history — right as the phone rings. Think of it as a lightweight customer database built into the PBX.

Caller ID names (CNAM)

VoicerOnePBX keeps a store of names for phone numbers. Some come from your provider's caller-ID-name lookups; others you add yourself. Once a number has a name, it shows on the handset, the browser client, and in reports.

Notes, history & screen-pop

  • Notes — jot context against a caller ("prefers email", "VIP account").
  • History — see previous calls with that number at a glance.
  • Screen-pop — the caller's card can pop up on the agent's screen (or handset) the instant the call arrives, so they answer already knowing who it is.

Tag-based routing

You can tag callers (e.g. "collections", "VIP") and route based on those tags — sending your best customers straight to a priority queue, for example.

Names are kept

Caller-ID names are stored and kept — refreshing a name updates it in place rather than throwing history away, so your directory gets richer over time.
