Admin & Join PINs
A PIN is a short numeric code that controls entry to a conference. VoicerOnePBX supports two kinds, so you can separate joining a meeting from running it.
The two PINs
- Join PIN — participants enter this to get into the room. Share it with attendees.
- Admin (moderator) PIN — entering this makes you the moderator, with the in-conference controls. Keep this one to yourself.
Why two PINs?
It means you can hand the join PIN to a whole team while keeping moderator powers — mute, lock, kick — to just the meeting host.
Locking & waiting
A moderator can lock a room once everyone's in, so no one else can join even with the PIN — useful for a private discussion. See In-Conference Controls.
